It’s hard for me to believe that 2021 is here already, and that July of this year marks our 50th Year in business! Our group of companies known as RDC Group, was originally founded in 1971 by my father Dan Ratzlaff, right here on South Fraser Way in beautiful Abbotsford, B.C.
The main focus of the business shifted over the past 50 years from architectural drafting services, to the development of four-story condominium projects for sale in the 90’s, to now being a provider of quality multi-family rental communities in the Fraser Valley.

Still at the center of what we do, is the “how” we choose to operate everyday, something that was passed down to my generation. At RDC Group, we believe in doing things right and caring about the people in the process. We have a long-term approach to the developments we build, so that means building it right and thinking about how people want to live and work there. It’s a privilege for us to be apart of this community of Abbotsford for the past 50 years, and be able to do what we love.
This year in celebration of the past, but also looking forward to what is yet to come, we anticipate the completion of our new office space located on the ground floor of the VENTURA project, which is scheduled for completion late Spring 2021. As summer approaches, be watching for more exciting news to come, including a new name and branding to accompany the occasion!
